Summary
- Why did I become a physician? I wanted to use my love of science and how the human body works to help patients. I wanted a specialty that I can take care of the whole patient by listening to my patients and really understand their goals and help them make decisions about their own care.
I also love my role as a physician educator. I developed the Internal Medicine residency program at HonorHealth and I teach at University of Arizona College of Medicine. By being a physician educator, it keeps me up to date on ways to take care of my patients.
