- Alice Pomidor, MD, is a geriatric specialist based in Tallahassee, FL. She completed her medical education at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in 1984, followed by a residency in Family Medicine at Akron General Medical Center from 1984 to 1987 and a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at The MetroHealth System/Case Western Reserve University from 1987 to 1989. She retired from Florida State University College of Medicine in August 2022 and from practice at Capital Health Plan in December 2023. Her publications include works on counseling older drivers, exercise for older adults and addressing health literacy in geriatric care. Dr. Pomidor was recognized as a Fellow by the American Geriatrics Society in 2013.
