Alice Lee, MD, CPE, FACP is an internal medicine specialist with a subspecialty in hospital medicine, based in Tampa, FL. She completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in 1993 and her residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida from 1993 to 1996. She was a Primary Care Physician at Diagnostic Clinic from 1996 to 2003.

She has been a hospitalist with Optum Florida since 2003. She has extensive experience with multiple hospital and SNF systems for over 25 years. She has advanced from Lead Hospitalist to Float physician to Associate Medical Director in 2020. Since 2022 she has been Medical Director for the Hospital and SNF program for Florida. Her team has rapidly expanded in the past 5 years and now has 60 providers covering 21 hospitals and 22 skilled nursing facilities.

She became a Certified Physician Executive through the American Association of Physician Leaders in 2023 and a Fellow with American College of Physicians in 2024. She plans to finish a MBA in Medical Management through University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2026.
