Summary

• I am an Interventional Pulmonologist with focus of my clinical practice on detecting small lung nodules when they are small in size to help detect lung cancer in early stages. Other aspect of my clinical practice includes advanced bronchoscopy techniques such as rigid bronchoscopy, treatment of central airway blockage and lung collapse, Airway Stenting, Pleuroscopy for diagnosis and treatment of complex pleural effusion, Percutaneous Tracheostomy, Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR) for treatment of severe emphysema, etc.
  My research interests include application of Particle-Based Radiotherapy via bronchoscopy in treatment of lung cancer, application of live microscopic and cellular imaging and 3D fluoroscopy during bronchoscopy for improvement of role of bronchoscopy in diagnosis and treatment of different pathologies from lung cancer to interstitial lung disease.
