Better known as Dr. Alex, I am a board certified pediatrician specializing in personalized, comprehensive, evidence-based care from birth to adolescence. Originally from Puerto Rico and fluent in Spanish, I graduated medical school at the top of my class at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico, earning the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society membership. After heading to South Florida, I completed pediatric residency training at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, ranked as one of the top children's hospitals in the nation. Since my completion of specialty training in 2021, I have been a primary care physician at both physician-owned concierge practices and large insurance-based community practices in the outpatient setting in Palm Beach county. In 2025, I founded a membership-based, direct primary care practice, Curitas Pediatrics, to continue providing the highest quality pediatric care to the children of Palm Beach without the barriers of the middle man that is health insurance.
