Summary

• I am a board certified internist and infectious diseases specialist with broad experience caring for patients across the entire lifespan in a diverse range of clinical settings in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to ID fellowship at the University of Washington, I completed my internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center and internal medicine / pediatrics internship at the University of Pennsylvania. I graduated from Boston University School of Medicine, where I also completed a master's degree in medical sciences. I have specific clinical interests in HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and global health. As an ID fellow, I completed advanced training in applied biostatistics and epidemiology. I am also an experienced cross-cultural and bilingual (Spanish + English) care provider, having lived and worked in both Peru and Uganda for extended periods during my clinical training.
