Summary
- Dr. Kaysin's areas of interest include full-scope family medicine. In addition to providing routine care of adults with chronic and acute healthcare needs, this includes the care of newborns and women's health including prenatal care and obstetrics.
He enjoys working with underserved communities, including the uninsured, to provide comprehensive health care and working with people on an ongoing basis to achieve desired health outcomes.
Dr. Kaysin believes an important aspect of comprehensive family medicine involves reducing reliance on specialists by providing patients with the necessary procedures including family planning and contraception, colposcopy for abnormal pap smears, skin biopsies, joint injections, and more.
In his role as medical director, he works on population health management and coordinating care within a patient-centered medical home. As a member of the faculty, Dr. Kaysin enjoys teaching and supervising medical students and residents in the principles and practices of family medicine. He has more than 30 publications and 36 citings.
