Summary
- As a recent graduate of Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, I am an internal medicine resident physician at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. I'm committed to promoting global health equity and social justice through clinical care, research, and policy & advocacy. To date, my global health and clinical work has primarily been focused in Latin America (Perú and México) as well as in Latin American immigrant populations residing in the United States. I am particularly interested in the epidemiology of tuberculosis and emerging infectious diseases, the biosocial intersection between mental health and tuberculosis, and community-centered care delivery models and health systems strengthening in diverse settings.
I am seeking a future academic career at the intersection between patient care, research, and policy.
