- Dr. Bustamante earned his medical degree in 1999 at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and completed his residency at San Diego Naval Medical Center, San Diego, California. He went on to complete a Fellowship in Cardiology at the National Capital Consortium, Bethesda, Maryland. He retired from the Navy in 2020 after serving 21 years.
Dr. Bustamante is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and Adult Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the Society Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Bustamante is fluent in Spanish
