• Dr. Alec Does is a Family Medicine physician and Clinical Hypertension Specialist based in Anaheim, CA. He completed his medical education at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, graduating in 1998, and subsequently completed a General Surgery internship at Valleywise Health from 1998 to 1999. He finished his residency in Family Medicine at the University of California (Irvine) in 2002. Dr. Does has been recognized for his efforts in healthcare quality, receiving the Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2011. Additionally, he has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance through the Diabetes Recognition Program from 2011 to 2014 and the Heart/Stroke Recognition Program from 2010 to 2013. He has also received the OCMA Physicians of Excellence award multiple years. He is currently a full time clinician and hypertension consultant, the physician lead for his county’s hypertension program, serves on the family medicine residency program faculty, and is a volunteer assistant clinical professor for UC Riverside medical school.
