His physician scientist postdoctoral training included residencies in Internal Medicine and Pathology with subsequent NIH sponsored postdoctoral fellowships at the State University of NY Stony Brook Medical Center in Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology. He began the Allergy Section at NYU Winthrop University Medical Center. Since 1992, he has been serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina. His published research focuses on programmed cell death, immunology, allergic diseases and therapeutic studies . Dr. Finn's work and publications have been widely cited, emphasizing his contributions to the field. He is recognized as a fellow by multiple medical bodies and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pathology(Clinical), Allergy and Immunology.
