Alana Nguyen, MD, is an oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal cancer, based in New York, NY. She completed her medical education at Boston University School of Medicine in 2016, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine and a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Since 2022, Dr. Nguyen has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine and also holds a position as a Clinical Fellow at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her expertise includes esophageal, cholangiocarcinoma, gastric, colorectal, and pancreatic cancers. Dr. Nguyen has published several research articles and has been recognized with the ASCO Young Investigators Award in 2019.
