Dr. Alan Silberberg obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he graduated cum laude in 2001. He earned his medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and then moved to the west coast for his post-graduate training.
After an internship at Legacy Health System in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Silberberg completed both his anesthesiology residency (2009) and fellowship training (2010) in pain medicine at the highly regarded University of California San Diego.
Following his fellowship, Dr. Silberberg moved with his family to Austin, Texas to begin practicing interventional pain management in a group practice. In 2014 he formed his own practice, Greater Austin Pain Center. In his spare time, Dr. Silberberg enjoys swimming, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
