Summary

• I am a family doc and started DocTalker Family Medicine in 2003. We were (maybe) the first practice to extensively have a communication centric office where we used phones and telemed and emails to solve our patients problems but could see them at the office or their homes whenever necessary. My son and I developed a new medical record system, Cerbo, that is now extensively used among many practices that don't typically accept insurance. I consider most of our work to be the early inception of direct primary care (DPC) movement
