- Dr. Dackiw is Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. He did his Surgical Oncology fellowship training at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Endocrine Surgery fellowship training at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Dackiw has published over 150 articles, chapters, textbooks and abstracts and serves on the editorial board and as a reviewer for a number of biomedical journals. His research investigations have included clinical studies in nerve monitoring in thyroid and parathyroid surgery and molecular investigations in endocrine neoplasia. Dr. Dackiw is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, is an internationally recognized expert in Endocrine Surgery, and has performed approximately three thousand operations on the adrenal, parathyroid, thyroid and pancreas.
