Summary
- Initially trained as a Clinical Pathologist, with sub-specialization in DNA diagnostics, till 1998, in Academic settings. Changed career in 1998, to Occupational Medicine and Chronic Pain Management. Here, I developed an interest in applying the Mind-Body Axis in the management of Chronic Pain, Rehabilitation and returning to work. I started my own practice in 2002, in Texas, then subsequently in Oregon and Washington. I am Board certified in Preventive-Occupational Medicine, member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. I am an Independent Medical Examiner (IME)and conduct Forensic Medical Evaluations on medico-legal cases in Texas, Oregon and Washington. I also provide expert witness testimonies. I am a certified IME by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners and a member of the International Academy of Independent Medical Examiners. Currently, I am interested in the effects of Environment on Health, notably Forrest exposure (As the Japanese researchers put it, Forest Bathing).
