• Dr. Ajay Maker is a surgical oncologist based in San Francisco, CA, with subspecialties in liver, bile duct, pancreas, melanoma and soft tissue sarcoma surgical oncology. He graduated from Yale School of Medicine and completed his surgery residency at Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital. He pursued a post-doctoral fellowship in tumor immunology and surgical oncology at the National Cancer Institute, followed by a complex general surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Maker is considered an international expert in colorectal liver metastases, hepatic artery infusion, pancreatic cysts/cancer, gastrointestinal cancer surgery, melanoma surgery, and immunotherapy.
