Summary
- Passionate about empowering Clinicians!! I am a practicing Cardiologist with an extensive background in Technology and Operations. As the Chief Medical Information Officer of the Ambulatory practices at Temple Health I have spearheaded clinician training and technology wellness initiatives across the enterprise. With a focus on leveraging available technologies to improve patient care while at the same time offloading administrative burdens from clinicians. Established the EPOCH (EMR / Provider/ Optimization /Competencies and Happiness) Clinician support team, providing EMR and Voice recognition training and support for all clinicians at Temple. The EPOCH team has been a paradigm shift in how Temple provides technical support and training to our frontline clinical staff. Our effort to drive adoption of Voice Recognition tools among clinicians has resulted in a reduction of over 3650 hours a month in documentation burden, a reduction of 44,000 administrative hours a year.
Clinical lead for the design and implementation of Temple Health's feature rich in house telemedicine workflow solution, streamlining the telemedicine experience for our Patients, Clinicians and Trainees.
