Dr. Ahmed Alhassan is a psychiatrist specializing in psychosomatic medicine based in Birmingham, AL. He completed his medical education at the University of Khartoum Faculty of Medicine in 2011 and is currently a resident at UAB Hospital Birmingham since 2022. Previously, he was a Clinical Fellow at the Mayo Clinic from 2021 to 2022. Dr. Alhassan has contributed to several publications, including a case report on prolonged psychosis published in Psychopharmacology Bulletin and research on psychological trauma mechanisms in Plos One.
