"Adepero Mettabel Okulaja is a practising internal medicine physician in Edina, Minnesota. Originally from Nigeria, she moved to The United States in 1994 to complete her medical training. She began her career at the University of Pennsylvania and completed her 'Med-Peds' residency training at the Albert Einstein Medical center, in Philadelphia before moving to Eau Claire WI in 2001. In 2006, she moved to the Twin Cities where currently resides. Dr. Okulaja is the medical director at The Doctor's House. Her medical practice centers on her passions, which are Integrative medical care, Women's Health, Total Wellness, and the art of healing body, soul, and spirit, diagnostic medicine, Adolescent medicine, Weight management and Post-Bariatric surgery care, Endocrine and autoimmune disorders. She is also an inspirational speaker and the author of The Voice of One Woman, an inspirational anthology of poetry, prose and short stories."
