Summary
- Dr. Adam Ketron is a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellow (Psycho-Oncology Track) at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is a Staff Psychiatrist at Wyoming Behavioral Institute and provides attending coverage at Brigham and Women's Hospital (Main and Faulkner Campuses). His interests include psychosocial oncology and the relationships between medical and psychiatric disorders, as well as addiction, collaborative and integrated care models, ethics, and health behaviors. He has presented work at the 2023 and 2024 Annual Meetings of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, where his team won a 2024 Top Trainee Poster award for work on the neural mechanisms of addiction. Dr. Ketron completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Washington (Montana Track), where he was awarded funding from the UW Clinician Scientist Training Program for qualitative research on contingency management. He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he served as Student Vice President of Medical Education and conducted research in molecular oncology. Dr. Ketron holds a PhD in Chemical and Physical Biology from Vanderbilt University, where he focused on cancer biology.
