Summary
- I am a genitourinary medical oncologist and physician scientist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. I have developed expertise in treating patients with prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and testicular cancer. I am engaged in clinical trials and translational research including patient-derived tumor xenograft models and high-throughput drug assays using 3D spheroids to discover novel therapeutic strategies for prostate cancer. I have ongoing projects in molecular targeted therapies based on personalized oncogenic genomic alterations and involved in designing and developing clinical trials using personalized neoantigen vaccines for cancer. I also have a passion for healthcare disparities with a focus African American/Black men with prostate cancer and collaborate with international investigators to bridge the disparity gap.
