Dr. Adam Hughes is an Internal Medicine Hospitalist in Virginia Beach, VA and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. He received his medical degree from the Lincoln Memorial University Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in medical school at LMU, he also obtained his Masters of Business Administration. Upon completion of his internal medicine residency at SOVAH Health in Virginia, Dr. Hughes moved to Pawleys Island, South Carolina where he worked for over 6 years as a hospitalist at Tidelands Health and also served as the Medical Director of Hospital Medicine for Tidelands Health from 2021 to 2023. In 2024, Dr. Hughes moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he now resides and practices. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Senior Fellow of Hospital Medicine.
