Summary
- Adam Dimitrov, MD, FAAFP, earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his training in family medicine at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, where he served as chief resident and later joined the teaching faculty. During his time on faculty, he received a number of teaching awards, including the "Family Medicine Education Consortium's Emerging Leader Award." As a family physician with Baptist Primary Care in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Dr. Dimitrov provides a broad scope of clinical services, from the care of children to geriatrics. He has served as Associate Medical Director for Quality Improvement with Baptist Primary Care as well as Chair of Baptist Primary Care’s Patient-Centered Medical Home Committee. He is currently a member of the Baptist Health Foundation Board of Trustees. In September of 2015, Dr. Dimitrov was named Best Doctor in Jacksonville in the inaugural Bold City Best Competition conducted by the Florida Times-Union.
