Summary
- I am a veteran General Surgeon with over 27years of experience. At age 60 I have good health and plenty of time to develop the second half of my career. I have a bread and butter practice and have maintained a malpractice free history.
I enjoy endoscopy enormously. I have performed 20,000 colonoscopies and thousands of upper endoscopies. I have a special interest in foregut and colo-rectal diseases. I have brought over 35 innovative procedures to my hospitals and continue to participate in multiple innovations happening around the country and the world.
I am robotically trained and have an active DaVinci practice. The robotic platform has added enormous power to my skill set. It was worth making the intensive transition.
I understand the role of being on call and have taken call 50% of my professional life for 26 years.
I enjoy working with patients and their families. I am easy to get along with and have excellent working relationships with my nurses and fellow care providers.
