Summary
- I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He studied biology at the University of Southern California, then dedicated two years to the study of aging in C. elegans (Dillin lab, Salk Institute), humans (Bartzokis lab, UCLA), and mouse lemurs (Centre ValBio, Madagascar), before completing medical school at Washington University of St. Louis. I am currently a senior resident in the Department of Dermatology at University of Iowa, and will be pursuing subspecialist training in Mohs micrographic surgery at Skin Centre in Tauranga, New Zealand in 2019-2020. My long-standing fascination is with translational aging research, and I have several ongoing research projects aiming to develop skin-directed anti-aging therapies and safely introduce them to clinical practice.
