Summary
- Dr Saadi grew up in Tripoli Libya where he graduated Medical school from the University of Tripoli Cum Laude in 2005. He practiced in Libya for 4 years and underwent postdoctoral cardiovascular training in the United Kingdom. He then moved to the US first joining the Emory university cardiovascular research laboratory of Dr Arshad Quyyumi. He then joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH-NIA) cardiovascular unit in Baltimore as a research scientist, simultaneously finishing an internal medicine residency in the MedStar System. This was followed by a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Creighton University Hospital and then Interventional and structural cardiology fellowship at the Cooper University Hospital.
Dr Saadi is board certified in Internal medicine, Cardiology, Interventional cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear cardiology and certified in hyperbaric medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiologists (FACC) and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (SCAI).
Dr Saadi has extensive expertise in managing a wide range of cardiovascular problems with focus on coronary, peripheral and valvular diseases. He uses minimally invasive approaches including radial artery access. Dr Saadi is experienced in both arterial and venous interventions including laser ablations, sclerotherapy and venous ablations. Furthermore, He has specific expertise in valvular and structural interventions performing the TAVR, Mitraclip and Watchman procedures. He is an avid sports fan, enjoys time with family and friends, loves travel and live music.
