Dr. Abdelkader Almanfi is an interventional cardiologist and structural heart consultant in Houston, Texas. After graduation from Texas Heart Institute in 2016, he served as Structural Heart Program Medical Director in Kentucky and Wisconsin states. He is board certified by ABIM in Internal medicine, Cardiovascular diseases and Interventional Cardiology subspecialties. He received his medical degree from Libyan Medical University and has been in practice for 10 years. He speaks multiple languages, including Arabic.
He specializes in interventional cardiology and structural heart diseases, he is experienced in TAVR, MitraClip, LAA closure, complex percutaneous coronary intervention, peripheral vascular disease and abdominal/thoracic endovascular aortic aneurysm repair.
He works as a TAVR proctor both nationally and internationally and helped establishing and growing many TAVR programs over the last few years.
