- Aaron Krych is the Department Chair of Orthopedic Surgery and the Krehbiel Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, USA. He is also the previous Chair of Sports Medicine and the Director of the Orthopedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellowship and Orthopedic Surgery Sports Medicine Research Fellowship. He is the team orthopedic surgeon for the MN Timberwolves NBA basketball team. His clinical and research focus has been on cartilage restoration in the hip and knee, knee osteotomy and meniscus repair and transplantation. He has authored more than 480 peer-reviewed publications.
