Seeking a Wound Care physician in Southeast Georgia
Statesboro, GA
East Georgia Regional Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Wound Care physician for a hospital, clinic-based solo practice. Wound Care fellowship (with certificate) required. GS preferred, following residency/practice.
Special Requirement / Skills: General Surgery residency
- Outpatient only - with the opportunity to perform optional general surgery procedures - one day a week
- One office
- Call Coverage - N/A; back up available from another General Surgeon
- Wound care clinic in Medical Office Building adjacent to hospital, 5 exam rooms; 2 hyperbaric chambers
- Statesboro is a simple 50-minute drive to Savannah!

East Georgia Regional's healthcare team consists of approximately 1000 associates and over 120 physicians representing a wide range of specialties. The hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department, a Level II neonatal center, same-day surgery and ambulatory care, a pain management center, a wound care clinic, two cardiac catherization labs, and state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures including digital mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, and interventional cardiology/radiology. There are 9 OBGYNs, 21 PCPs, 3 General Surgeons on staff. Large referral base. Robust hospitalist program with 10 Hospitalists (8 daytimers and 2 nocturnists).
