The Opportunity:
The Ascension Seton Williamson Birthing Center in Round Rock, TX, provides personalized care for women and their babies before, during, and after pregnancy. The center offers a team of experienced OB-GYNs, certified nurse midwives, and specialists who prioritize your preferences and concerns throughout the birthing process. They provide comprehensive services, including 24/7 OB emergency care, breastfeeding support, and neonatal intensive care (NICU Level II). For high-risk pregnancies, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists offer advanced care, ensuring both mother and baby receive the necessary support. Additionally, the center is connected to Dell Children's Medical Center, providing access to top pediatric specialists in Central Texas. This hospital is a sister facility to OBHG’s two onboarding facilities – Ascension Seton Medical Center and the Special Delivery Unit at Dell Children’s Hospital. Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital currently sees approximately 715 annual deliveries.

OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.
This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. A day in the life includes:
- Caring for all pregnant women who present emergent, regardless of circumstance
- Cultivating relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel
- Supporting private practice physicians by providing coverage and assistance
- Caring for unassigned patients
- Evaluating and treating triage patients
- Providing consultation to the ED
- Monitoring labor

As an OBHG clinician you are the in-house expert. You'll improve patient safety, reduce maternal mortality rates and help alleviate physician burnout. A typical work day might include collaborating with local private-practice OB/GYNs, assisting with emergent cases, caring for unassigned patients, overseeing residents or meeting with hospital leaders to design a new quality initiative.
