Newborn Hospitalist opportunity in Newport News, VA
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a per diem, experienced, Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to join our neonatology practice at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA to provide newborn nursery coverage:
- Coverage of the newborn nursery with 2,500 annual births and an ALOS of 2.9 days
- Responsibilities include attending deliveries and providing consultations to families and referring physicians. Residents and Med Students rotate through this site.
- Inhouse coverage with flexible options of 8–10-hour schedule Monday – Friday with a neonatologist or NNP covering on nights and weekends
Qualifications
- VA license required
- Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent Newborn Nursery experience required.
