Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.
An Advanced Practice Provider Fellow is a certified physician assistant or advanced registered nurse practitioner who spends a year gaining in-depth oncology training/education and provides evaluation and medical management to patients at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. All clinical responsibilities are performed within the scope of practice, institutional privileges and under the supervision of an attending physician.
The fellowship is a 12 month program beginning Nov 1, 2025.

To apply, you must be a student or graduate of an accredited PA or NP program and have graduated at least three months prior to the program start date (November 3, 2025). If you are a student, this allows time to complete your exams, licensure and credentialing. To qualify, you must:
Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university (a clinical or health-related bachelor’s degree is preferred)
If you are a PA: Have passed or be eligible to take the NCCPA examination
If you are an adult, FNP or acute care NP: Have passed or be eligible to take the AANP or ANCC certification examination
Obtain Washington state licensure before the November 1, 2025 program start date

Personal statement of interest including a clear indication of why you are applying to this fellowship and which area of focus you would like to pursue.
Curriculum Vitae
Unofficial transcripts from PA or NP program
2 reference letters from clinical peer or supervisor.
*If less than 2 years of NP/PA experience, one of the letters is required from your Program Director.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.

This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.
