    Rochester Regional Health is seeking a passionate Board-Certified PM&R Physician to serve as the Associate Program Director for our ACGME-accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program.     As the Associate Program Director, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the program's curriculum, mentoring residents, and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. This is a part-time administrative position combined with clinical practice, offering a balance of academic leadership and patient care.

    About the Residency Program:

    • 3-Year ACGME-Accredited Program: With a robust curriculum emphasizing brain injury, stroke rehabilitation, and general PM&R.
    • Collaborative Leadership Team: You'll work alongside the Program Director, faculty, and Program Coordinator to deliver a dynamic, high-quality educational experience for residents.

    Position Highlights:

    • Administrative Responsibilities (0.1-0.2 FTE):
      • Assist the Program Director in developing and implementing the residency curriculum, ensuring alignment with ACGME standards.
      • Play an active role in resident recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship.
      • Organize and lead didactic sessions, conferences, and other educational activities.
      • Collaborate with the Program Director to evaluate residents’ performance and progress, providing guidance and support to help them meet ACGME milestones.
      • Contribute to program assessments and continuous quality improvements to enhance resident education and patient care.
    • Clinical Practice (0.8-0.9 FTE):
      • Serve as an attending physician in the inpatient rehabilitation unit, outpatient brain and stroke clinics, or a combination of both.
      • Provide hands-on clinical teaching and mentorship to residents during rotations.
      • Deliver patient care that exemplifies RRH's commitment to compassionate, patient-centered service.
    • Program Development:
      • Foster collaboration among PM&R faculty to build a cohesive and supportive environment for education and care.
      • Contribute to scholarly activity, such as research, presentations, or educational innovations, that enhances the program's reputation and impact.

    Qualifications:

    • Required:
      • Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
      • Minimum of three years of clinical or educational experience in an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program.
      • Demonstrated commitment to medical education and mentorship.
      • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Preferred:
      • Experience delivering lectures and leading educational initiatives.
      • Documented scholarly activity, such as publications, presentations, or contributions to academic medicine.

    Compensation Details

    $300-400k

    Benefits & Compensation: * Competitive Compensation: Includes clinical base salary with an administrative stipend. * Sign-On Bonus: Generous incentive offered upon joining. * Comprehensive Benefits Package: + 6 weeks of vacation annually. + CME stipend with dedicated time for professional development. + Fully covered relocation assistance. Pay Transparency In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. This may include: productivity and/or value based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay. PAY RANGE: $300,000.00 - $400,000.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
