Lakeland Eye Clinic, a well-established and thriving multi-specialty practice is seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon who is confident in all areas of medical and surgical glaucoma to care for our patients in and around Lakeland, Florida. The opportunity allows for a wonderful mix of glaucoma and cataracts.

Lakeland, centrally located between Orlando and Tampa, offers a growing community with a population of roughly 120,000 residents across 75 square miles. With 38 named lakes, Lakeland’s culture is built around outdoor recreations, quaint shops, craft breweries, and some of the best fine-dining experiences. Lakeland is surrounded by historic neighborhoods which you can feel as you stroll through tree lined cobble stone and brick roads. With great schooling and several colleges including Polk State College and Florida Southern College, Lakeland offers an area great for a growing family.

Establishing in 1954, Lakeland Eye Clinic has been supporting the community for over 50 years. While providing exceptional eye care to all patients, this practice sets itself apart as they also provide Flight Physicals to aviators seeking their FAA medical certification. With population growth and limited glaucoma providers in the area, there is urgent need for a Glaucoma Surgeon. With available volume of over 30 surgical cases weekly and upwards of 50 cases per clinical day, this opportunity allows the confident physician immediate patient access clinically and surgically. Supporting the incoming physician we offer physician autonomy and a 2 year ramp period, allowing the physician to practice at the pace most comfortable with.
