Optum Tri-State of NJ, (formerly Riverside Medical Group) is seeking an Adult Primary Care Advanced Practice Clinicianto join our team in the Northern New Jersey market (West Orange). Optum is a clinician-led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused medical history and physical examinations.
- Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions.
- Order and perform diagnostic procedures and studies, such as EMG, Electrocardiogram, Compartment pressure measurements, X-ray examinations, CT, MRI, and bone scans.
- Perform minor outpatient procedures, such as hardware removal, incision and drainage, K-wire removal, percutaneous pinning of fractures, tendon repair, wound closure, wound debridement, needle biopsy and wound care/management.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as brace, cast, and splint applications, closed reduction of fractures and dislocations, injection of joints, joint and bursa aspirations.
Position Highlights:
- Physician-led, patient centered team-based environment.
- Collegial multispecialty group practice with a large referral base and a focus on provider wellness and team-based care.
- Schedule: Flexible, with different shifts, 8 hrs. per day. Typically featuring at least 4 full clinic days a week + every other Saturday.
- On-Call support is 1:4. When you work on call, it will off-set your weekday schedule so you will have days off during the week.
- EPIC EMR system.
- Advanced Practice Clinician Partnership Plan and unlimited room for growth.
- Supported to grow your practice and patient panel.
- Must be comfortable working independently but always have Physician support .
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree as Nurse Practitioner of Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP, or as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA.
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Practice Nurse, ANP) or Physician Assistant license in the State of New Jersey.
- Active and unrestricted CDS permit (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Must be CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior relevant post-graduate clinical experience
New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $109,513 to $147,146 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
