Job Summary:
This position will provide patient care at Eastpark Medical Center and other UW Health approved locations as a member of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Responsibilities will also include clinical teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, and other service appropriate to the position.
Responsibilities:
For appointments hired on Clinical Track:
100% - Provide patient care at UW Health approved locations; provide clinical teaching to medical students, residents and fellows. Participation in division/departmental grand rounds and clinical conferences. The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
For appointments hired on Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) Track:
70% clinical care for patients at UW Health approved locations; 30% research, program development, and/or education activities. The successful applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

Education:
Required
Terminal Degree
MD/DO or Equivalent
Qualifications:
MD must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism; DO must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM).
Completed Endocrinology fellowship training required.
Candidates for associate or full clinical professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion.
License/Certification:
Required
Must be eligible for a Wisconsin medical license
