Full-Time Emergency Department Physician Assistant PA at Saint Louis University Hospital

SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking applicants for Emergency Department Physician Assistants. The position is at Saint Louis University Hospital (SLUH).

SLUH is a 365 bed hospital and a level 1 Trauma, Stroke and STEMI center. Our state-of-the-art facility was opened in 2020 to meet the growing critical care needs of 75 outlying partner clinics and nearly 50,000 patients annually, within a 250-mile radius across Missouri and Illinois. SLUH serves as a teaching facility for Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Duties Include:

• Performing medical screening exams
• Providing primary care to patients
• Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
• Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
• Recording patient medical histories
• Performing routine lab tests

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) Program
• NPs should have acute care or emergency medicine certifications
• Current PA licensure in appropriate state
• New graduates welcome with supporting clinical APP background
