Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in eastern North Carolina with an opportunity for a Cardiologist to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday (5p-7a), Saturday-Monday (7a-7a)
• Call: One week (Monday-Friday 5p-7a) and weekend (Saturday 7a – Monday 7a) per month
• Setting: Inpatient
• Patient Volume: 18-20 per shift
• Duties: Provide comprehensive cardiac evaluations and management, interpretation of EKGs, echocardiograms, and nuclear stress tests
• Team Structure: 10 MDs, 4 APPs
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
