We are currently hiring for the following roles:
Interventional Structural Heart APP Concord, NC
- Full time day shift, 40-hour work week, 4 x 10-hour shifts. Expected to participate in weekend and holiday coverage with rotation cycle. No call. Setting is inpatient/outpatient
- APP is not expected to perform procedures but will manage patients pre and post procedurally. APP is expected to perform admission, rounding, consult and discharge notes on patients in the inpatient and ED setting. APP is expected to perform admission and discharge summaries for outpatient same day procedures. APP is also expected to adequately perform clinic visits in the outpatient setting.
- Patient panel (outpatient) – APP is expected to see 14 outpatients on a full day of clinic.
Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant APP Charlotte, NC
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week rotating between inpatient and outpatient care. Weekend rotation (5-hour shifts) required. Some outpatient call required.
- The APP in this position will function at the top of their license in the inpatient hospital and outpatient clinic-based setting in collaboration with a supervising physician and other members of a multidisciplinary team.
- Responsible for a rotation of services including inpatient daily rounds, consultations, and clinic-based appointments.
- The APP, working alongside the MD, will be responsible for evaluating, stabilizing, and treating patients with advanced heart failure both pre-mechanical circulatory support (MCS) and/or heart transplantation, peri-operatively, and post surgically.
- The position also includes direct involvement in data collection and quality improvement (QI).
Adult Cardiology APP - Huntersville, NC
- Shifts: Mon-Fri Day shift, occasional weekends and/or holidays may be required
- Work independently in the hospital and perform care under the supervision of a physician to all patients on the cardiology services
- Areas of clinical work include but are not limited to medicine/surgical floors, cardiovascular telemetry unit, ICU, and Emergency Department.
- Evaluate new patients, consults, and established patients from the ER and on the cardiovascular service as well as diagnose, treat and manage common conditions in the cardiovascular population
- Perform an appropriate history and physical exam, write emergent progress notes, assess and prepare patient workups, and follow core measures for documentation including hospital and 3rd party payer requirements and appropriate patient care
- Facilitate and order diagnostic studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, MRIs, CTs, and cardiac catheterization if indicated
Qualifications for our positions:
- Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. Current license to practice as a NP or PA in North Carolina. Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
- BLS/ACLS Certified.
- Acute Care Certification required for NPs
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required for PAs
- 1+ years of cardiology experience required
