Come join this long-standing 465 bed eastern Kentucky Health System situated in a scenic riverfront community that serves a market area of 770,000 patients across eastern Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. You will find the Cardio-Thoracic Surgery team is collegial, laid-back yet highly professional and works collaboratively with the Health System's supportive administration.

Practice:
- 2 Surgeons currently with 4 experienced APPs
- Cardiac Capital of the World: the referral area includes the highest rate of heart disease in the world
- 350 heart cases/year
- Cardiac and thoracic surgery cases
- 4 ORs, 1 Hybrid OR, plus 1 new OR coming soon
- 27 minute OR turnover time
- Dedicated OR teams + Cardiac Anesthesia + CRNAs
- 4 RNFAs
- STRONG SUPPORT TEAM:
-Mentorship by Sr Surgeon (20 years+) who does off pump CABG cases (optional; but not req'd)
-BD Director assists in helping establish new surgeons within the community
- Off Pump CABG

Opportunity:
- $900,000 Base Salary for 3 years plus $80 WRVU + 50K Signing Bonus + 40K Quality Bonus
- 7 weeks Time Off
