  • Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician.     Opportunity Details:

    • 28,000+ annual visits with broad service area of 300,000 patients.

    • 24 Bed Emergency Department

    • 215-Bed Hospital with closed 23 bed ICU and multi specialists within the system

    • 20 hours of MD coverage & 28 Hours NP Coverage.

    • Level 3 Trauma Center

    • 12- Twelve hour shifts constitute full time

    • Flexible Scheduling

    • Unique Patient Flow Center through Ochsner to provide 24 hour support and help with patient transfers

    • Bedside Ultrasound machine available and tech in-house 24/7

    • Hospitalist run codes, not the ED

    • Emergency Medicine Director on staff to provide mentorship and support.

    • EPIC utilized throughout the health system

    • Teaching opportunities with residents rotating through Ochsner Rush at EC Healthnet.
