University of Miami Neurology:

• Mix of general neurology and cognitive disorder neurology.
• Clinical background in the area of Cognitive Disorders is a plus.
• Involvement in the clinical care of patients at the Uhealth satellite clinics, and in the inpatient service (2-4 weeks a year)
• Participate in educational and mentorship activities of the Department of Neurology
• Care for patients in the UHealth System outpatient settings
• Train, mentor physicians and staff
• Preparation and presentation at teaching conferences
• Support the clinical and educational program in Memory Diseases
• Obtain data and results that can be used to submit an application for future clinical research awards

Requirements:

• MD degree from a recognized accredited University (or foreign equivalent, must be certified for clinical work in the US.)
• Board certification in Neurology is strongly recommended
• Eligible for Florida Medical License

Compensation:

• Assistant Professor Compensation Range: $280,000 - $310,000
• Sign on and relocation bonuses
