Neurosciences Institute – Neurology (NIN) leads the Carolinas in advanced neurological care with treatment, research, rehabilitation, and specialty programs and provides a level of expertise unmatched in the region. We are national leaders in the development of quality improvement and clinical outcomes programs in the neurosciences. We have 50+ physicians and 20+ Advanced Practice Providers across Atrium Health Neurology ranging from general neurologists, subspecialty neurologists and Neurohospitalists. NIN is the region's largest and most experienced stroke network. Our Neurological Specialists work together to provide wide-ranging, seamlessly connected neurological care.

We are seeking a BE/BC Neurologist to join our Neurohospitalist team at Atrium Health Cabarrus, a designated Thrombectomy capable stroke center and Level III trauma center with 24/7 interventional stroke coverage, MRI, and emergency EEG (Electroencephalogram) coverage and in-house Critical Care and Internal Medicine Hospitalists

Position Description:

• Board eligible or Board certification in Neurology required.
• Vascular fellowship training (preferred)
• 7 on / 7 off schedule, 12-hour day shifts with night- time at home call with-in house Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage
• Academic faculty appointment with Wake Forest School of Medicine and teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
• Opportunity to participate in virtual neurology and tele stroke services for regional facilities.
• Opportunity to participate in national clinical research trials.
