  • Ochsner Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Rheumatologist to join their interdisciplinary team in New Orleans.

    Clinical Care

    • Provide primarily outpatient consultative care to infants, children, and adolescents with known or suspected rheumatologic conditions

    • Opportunities to partner with medical and surgical colleagues to serve children with complex conditions in multidisciplinary programs

    Teaching and Research

    • Teach medical students, residents, and allied health students

    • Clinical and translational research opportunities abound for qualified candidates

    • Academic appointment commensurate with experience

    We currently care for patients in an expanding 67-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 14-bed PICU, a 12-bed pediatric CV-ICU, and a 44-bed pediatric acute unit, with a dedicated pediatric emergency room, and full-time, region-wide in-house pediatric and neonatal transport teams.

    In addition to patient care, Ochsner Children’s Hospital has an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program and is responsible for teaching pediatric residents from the Tulane-

    Ochsner Pediatric Residency program as well as medical students from both Tulane and the University of Queensland. Ochsner Health and Xavier University of Louisiana recently announced an agreement to establish a joint College of Medicine.
