The MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a dynamic and visionary senior physician with superior leadership skills to serve as Cancer Center Director. This leadership position presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of cancer care, clinical research and education at a premier referral center serving a diverse population around Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
As a leader in comprehensive cancer care, the institute is affiliated with the only NCI-designated cancer center in Washington, D.C. The Cancer Center Director will work with Hospital and Health System leaders to drive the overall direction of the institute, advance cancer care delivery, expand the clinical research portfolio, and oversee education of medical students, residents and fellows. Responsibilities include working clinically at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a 912-bed academic medical center. The role offers strong support (APNs, research staff, administrative staff), academic appointment at Georgetown University, and an opportunity to play a key role in transforming cancer care in the Washington, D.C. community.

This position has a hiring range of $308,500 - $504,107.
