OBGYN Physician needed in Colorado Any State License

We are hiring a qualified Physician- Obstetrics & Gynecology to join our team of talented professionals who provide healthcare services to our U.S. military and their families at Evans Army Community Hospital located at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO.

• Status: Independent Contractor (1099) | Full-time
• Rate: Competitive Compensation + Sign-On Bonus
• Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:30am to 4:30pm | On-Call
• Period of Performance: Current contract ends November 2027, with possible contract renewal.
• Malpractice Coverage
• Start Date: December 2, 2024 (pending credentials and security approvals)

The Physician - OB/GYN must have the following qualifications:

• Degree/Education: Physician, OB/GYN shall have a doctorate degree from an accredited college approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or Doctor of Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association. • Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Shall have and maintain current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. The American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is the only program accepted for these certifications. • Experience: Shall have at least two years’ experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology after their residency caring for patients within the last six years or shall have at least one year’s experience on a civilian or military hospital staff within the last six years. • Board Certification: Shall be Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG) or an equivalent accredited program and have successfully completed a four-year residency program which is accredited by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Physicians. • Licensure/Registration: Shall have an unrestricted license in one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands and be able to obtain clinical privileges to practice medicine at the MTF where services are provided.
