Under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer, our physicians ensure the quality and comprehensiveness of medical services across our clinic sites. This is an opportunity to make a real difference!
- Patient Care: Examine, diagnose, prescribe, and treat.
- Leadership: Supervise and direct mid-level providers.
- Team Support: Oversee nursing and support staff.
- Diagnostic Review: Analyze lab results, x-rays, and other tests.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate EHR/Medical Records.
- Education: Participate in consumer education and staff training.
- Contract Fulfillment: Ensure all contractual requirements are met.
- Quality Assurance: Engage in quality measures and peer review.
- Virtual Care: Provide phone and video consultations.
- Comprehensive Care: Manage a panel of primary care patients.
- Technical Skills: Utilize office equipment efficiently.
- Shift Flexibility: Work assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Independence: Perform job functions independently and punctually.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with medical developments.
- Cultural Leadership: Embody our values of humility and curiosity.
- Additional Duties: Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Professionalism: Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and patients.
- Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest professional ethics and honesty.

- Enthusiasm: Show commitment to our mission.
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Internship: Completed an approved internship.
- Licensing: Valid California State Physician and Surgeon License.
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- CPR Certification: Current certification.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Sensitive to our diverse patient population.
- Organizational Knowledge: Familiar with Ampla Health’s standards and protocols.
- Handwriting: Neat and legible.
- Interpersonal Skills: Courteous and calm interactions.
- Public Communication: Effective communication with the public.
- Physical Health: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push up to 100 lbs.
- Stamina: Able to work on feet most of the day.
- Hearing & Vision: Adequate for medical tasks.
- Manual Dexterity: High dexterity and tactile sensation.
- Mobility: Able to reach, bend, squat, sit, and twist/turn.
- Exposure: Routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases.
