We are looking for a physician to serve as the Senior Medical Director for MedStar Family Choice, our Medicaid Managed Care organization. This position reports to the CMO and provides oversight of the Medical Directors. This role develops and maintains collaborative relationships with Maryland agencies, MedStar Health leaders, academic and community physicians, hospitals, and networks. This position raises the visibility of MFC in the community and within the healthcare industry at large. Qualified candidates must have previous experience in a health plan or Medicaid managed care environment, prior leadership experience and 5 years of clinical experience. Experience with provider contracting and incentive plans, NCQA certification, HEDIS reporting, quality management, departments of health, and government sponsored programs and recipients preferred. This is a hybrid position that includes working from our Baltimore office and also remotely.

$275-300k
