Join our Family Medicine faculty team at the University of Iowa

The UI Department of Family Medicine is seeking BE/BC physicians for teaching and non-teaching opportunities to build their career within a thriving academic healthcare system. This is an excellent opportunity to practice a full range of primary care/family medicine, including outpatient, inpatient, and maternity care (operative or non-operative). Additionally, candidates are encouraged to participate in departmental scholarships and can explore both intramurally and extramurally funded research activities. Expertise in MSK or ultrasound/POCUS is a plus!

Required Qualifications:

· Applicants must have a medical school degree, (MD/DO or equivalent) and show successful completion of an approved residency program in family medicine and fellowship (if applicable).

· The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain, or already hold, an active Iowa medical license.

· Candidates must be board-certified in family medicine (or non-U.S. board equivalent) or be in the certification process (pending completion of residency or fellowship).

Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credentialing.
